Youth

Our Values

At Ignite, we believe that we have the greatest news in the world and it’s our responsibility to share it with others. We desire to be relationally-focused and intentional at building relationships with others.

With that as a Spark, Christ is Igniting our youth here at Bethany under His promise from His Word, which says,

Ignite Youth Ministry exists to engage with 7th-12th graders and inspire the next generation to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ made evident through living a life worthy of the Gospel.

Yes, Lord, walking in the way of your laws, we wait of you; your name and renown are the desirer of our hearts. - Isaiah 26:8 (NIV)

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire.” -Hebrews 12:28-29 NIV

Christ is building His Kingdom here within us. His promise is that we will never be shaken by the things of this world, and He gives us the confidence to live it out in the world around us!

Come as you are, who you are, and how God created you. He wants to do something in and through your life, so worship Him with all of your Heart!

Current and Upcoming Series

CURRENT

Against All Odds
Wednesday Night

This Easter series runs from March 30 through April 20. We will be looking at the journey of Christ’s sentence of, journey to, and death on the cross. It’s crucial we understand the significance of the cross as it relates to our relationship with God.

The Words of Easter
Sunday Nights

Running from April 3 through April 24, this series will push students to engage with Biblical passages of people who chose to follow Jesus, experience resurrection, and received peace moving forward. Students should be able to answer, “have I made a decision to follow Christ?" Have I experienced resurrection because of Jesus?” And “if so, how has my life been changed because of my relationship with Jesus?

UPCOMING

Having concluded the Easter season, we will be diving into stories of people who’s lives were changed because they chose faith. The question remains, “How is my life different because I know God?”. This will run from April 27 through May 25.
